The Marlow Collection wasn't struggling with awareness. Their 12 boutique properties across London, Edinburgh, and Manchester had stunning interiors, loyal guests, and solid traditional SEO. But there was a problem they didn't see coming.

Affluent travelers and their exact target audience had stopped typing "luxury hotels London" into Google. Instead, they were asking Alexa in their cars, Google Assistant on their phones, and Siri while walking through airports. Voice search queries like "best boutique stays near me" and "luxury hotels in Edinburgh" were driving 40% of booking research and The Marlow Collection wasn't appearing in a single AI-powered answer.

Zero AI visibility meant lost bookings, lost revenue, and a brand that was invisible where it mattered most. So we built them an AI-first strategy. What followed didn't just increase bookings it fundamentally changed how travelers discovered them.

01. The Challenge

The Marlow Collection had a traditional search problem that wasn't traditional at all. Voice search queries were driving 40% of their target audience's hotel research, yet they had zero presence in Google Assistant, Alexa, or Siri recommendations. Competitors, including chain hotels, dominated conversational search results while The Marlow Collection's strong traditional SEO rankings meant nothing when users weren't clicking links they were listening to AI recommendations instead.

An entire generation of affluent, mobile-first travelers was asking AI assistants for hotel recommendations, and The Marlow Collection didn't exist in those conversations. Every voice query that didn't mention them was a booking they'd never get. Their boutique hotel value propositions the personalized service, the unique character, the local charm weren't being communicated to AI systems at all.

02. Our Approach

We flipped the traditional playbook. Instead of telling India about Singapore, we let India show Singapore through its own lens.

  • Launched a nationwide creator contest "Is This Even Singapore" inviting Indian creators to co-author Singapore's story.
  • Blended short-form, high-engagement content (Reels, Stories) with longer storytelling formats (Carousels, YouTube vlogs).
  • Activated a diverse influencer mix: emerging creators for authenticity, and mega Indian celebrities with 1–4M+ followers for scale and credibility.
  • Designed the contest page with an integrated form link on Instagram, making participation seamless and buzz-worthy.

03. The Impact

The campaign shattered expectations within just 60 days:

  • 100M+ Views (vs. projected 50–55M)
  • 80M+ Reach (vs. projected 35–40M)
  • 2.33M+ Likes
  • 13.1K+ Comments

Not only did the campaign exceed every KPI, it created a cultural moment. By letting young Indians tell the story, Singapore became more than a destination; it became a shared experience, resonating deeply with a whole new generation.
